Dear CalendarX Users,

Is there any way to configure CalX to avoid
resource booking conflicts?

e.g. One user books resource A for Monday at 9-10 am.
Is there any way to prohibit another user from making a
booking for Resource A at the same time?

Regards,

Not as a "configuration", no. CalendarX just reads the events that are there.

One approach would be to have custom events that look for a conflict when
they're edited/submitted. I seem to recall seeing some code somewhere (one
of mxm's Products perhaps) that had such a capability, or at least
something akin to it.

A more advanced level would have a view that shows available times
(unscheduled intervals), instead of unavailable times (a standard
calendar). I haven't seen that around the Plone world, but it shouldn't be
that hard to do.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Best wishes.

OK, but can PloneBooking work with CalX?

And does PB work with Plone 2.5?
